Origin: The ancestors of this Enantiopus Kilesa lived in Lake Tanganyika. But now they live in aquariums all over the world.
Maximum Size: In aquariums, males are able to grow to be about 6" long, including their tails, and females to about 4" long, which is a nice big size for aquariums of 80-gallons and greater.
Behaviors: Male Enantiopus Kilesa usually quarrel among themselves but are usually not too aggressive.
Compatibility: Some recommended tank mates include other smallish species from Lake Tanganyika and smallish Synodontis Catfish, but not Tropheus, which are too aggressive.

However it's good to use a gravel washer to regularly clean the gravel.

Whatever the genus, this species has not yet been named. Kilesa is a smallish region on the western side of Lake Tanganyika, where this fish's ancestors were collected.
Variations: There are several or perhaps many color variations of this species in Lake Tanganyika. These variations may be separate species or just local color variations.
